Dennis Tirch, PhD, is the Founder and Director of The Center for Compassion Focused Therapy, an internationally known expert on compassion psychology, and author of The ACT Practitioner’s Guide to the Science of Compassion: Tools for Fostering Psychological Flexibility.He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Weill-Cornell Medical College, and trains psychotherapists throughout the world in applied mindfulness, acceptance and compassion.
